Displays & Operation

Here you’ll learn how to switch on/off, choose assistance levels, read the range, use the push assist and reset trips — plus tips on brightness, pairing & updates.
Key essentials
Control unit & display
  • Power: Short press to switch on; to switch off, hold for a few seconds (system-dependent).
  • Levels: Use “+”/“–” (Eco/Tour/Sport/Turbo etc.). Lower level = more range.
  • Info: Toggle between speed, remaining range, battery level, trip, clock.
  • Lighting: Light button on the display/cockpit (model-dependent).
Tip: Set a favourite level for everyday rides (e.g. “Tour”) and use Turbo only on climbs — this protects the drivetrain (chain & sprockets).
Walk assist
  • Hold the walk-assist button (activate first if required) → the bike rolls slowly uphill.
  • Use only while walking beside the bike — never while seated.
Safety & behaviour
  • Limit operation while riding to the essentials.
  • In rain: the display is splash-resistant, but do not use a pressure washer.
Trip & range
  • Reset trip in the display menu “Reset” (often a long press on a button).
  • Remaining range depends on level, temperature, wind, tyres, weight.

Troubleshooting & FAQs
Display won’t switch on
Is the battery seated correctly? Check charge level. Hold Power for 5–10 s. Are contacts clean/dry? Otherwise contact your dealer.
Range lower than expected
Use a lower level, check tyre pressure, consider headwind/elevation; temperatures <10 °C reduce range.
App won’t pair
Toggle Bluetooth off/on, check app permissions; if needed “Forget device” and re-pair. Is the display firmware up to date?
Error message appears
Note the code/message, power off/on briefly. If it persists, contact your dealer — ideally with a photo of the message.
Next steps
Choose your display view, try the levels and pair the app for a relaxed start.
