How long does the battery last?

The lifespan of the battery depends on various factors, but with proper care it can last between 500 and 1,000 charge cycles or around 25,000 to 60,000 kilometres. In years, this corresponds to about 5 to 8 years or more, depending on usage.

If you are not using the battery for an extended period — for example in winter or during a long trip — proper storage is crucial for maintaining its lifespan and performance.

Store the battery at around 60 % charge. For most batteries, this corresponds to 3 illuminated LEDs. Keep the battery in a dry room at room temperature (approx. 15–20 °C).
Avoid frost, direct sunlight, and heat sources.

Tip:
The battery should never be stored completely discharged or fully charged for months — both can shorten its lifespan.
