What is VELOMATE?

VELOMATE is your digital companion for your VELO DE VILLE bike – both on tour and in everyday life.

The app offers ride statistics, GPS tracking, crash detection, service functions, and theft protection – all in one application on your smartphone.

What are the benefits of VELOMATE?

• Always know your bike’s location
  You can always see where your bike is parked, whether on the road or at home. In case of theft, GPS tracking helps you quickly locate your bike.

• Ride data & tour statistics
  See at any time how far you’ve ridden, which route you took, and when you last went out. Everything is automatically saved in the app.

• Crash detection for increased safety
  If the app detects that your bike has fallen and is no longer moving, you’ll receive a push notification. If you don’t respond, up to two pre-stored emergency contacts are notified, including the GPS location of the incident.

• Theft protection & police report support
  In the event of theft, the app automatically generates a document with all necessary information for filing a report – including serial number, bike details, and a GPS tracking link for the police.

• Dealer search & service planning
  Book maintenance appointments directly via the app with your VELO DE VILLE dealer. Even on holiday, VELOMATE helps you find the nearest partner workshop.

• Discounted insurance through ALTEOS
  Thanks to the integrated tracker, your bike is better protected – and our insurance partner ALTEOS rewards this with more attractive conditions.

Do I have to actively use or install VELOMATE?
VELOMATE is an optional additional service. If your bike is equipped with a GPS tracker, you can use the app directly. Activation is arranged with your dealer, who is also your direct contract partner.
